This family friendly event is open to the public, and will feature a 60' gaming trailer, two BBQ trailers, raffles to win rides in the Fontana PD SWAT Bearcat, and a raffle to win a ride in the Fontana PD helicopter!
Our 2018 Nom de Famille barrel aged series are all bottled and ready to go!
Those barrels in the back of the tasting room aren’t just for looking pretty. For the past year, our brew team has been patiently waiting for these three excellent beers to age to perfection: the Barrel Aged Stout, Barrel Aged Belgian Quad, and the Barrel Aged Barleywine! Clocking in at 14%, 9.5%, and 14% ABV, these beers are best shared with a friend.
The Barrel Aged Stout is an intensely flavored dark ale with notes of roasted malt and bittersweet chocolate. Aging for ten months in an American white oak bourbon barrel lends notes of vanilla and dark stone fruit to the beer, as well as a rounded, full mouthfeel.
The Belgian Quad is a dark, rich, and very strong Belgian ale aged to perfection in a fine Bourbon barrel for eleven months. It's complex, rich, smooth, and dangerous, with moderate vanilla sweetness and subtly spicy character.
Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine is a rich, heady ale aged for 9 months in American oak bourbon barrels. Aromas of caramel, vanilla, and toasted almonds are followed on the palate by toffee, brown sugar, and oak flavors with a full, round body and warm finish.
These exquisite brews are best enjoyed out of a snifter glass!
The 2018 Surname Drinking Society was such a hit, we’re doing it again! Starting today on Black Friday, we’re opening up registration for both the Mug and Growler club! As a member, you will enjoy certain perks, like having first access to special releases, getting news and updates before anyone else, and just generally enjoying a distinguished status as a member of the Last Name Brewing family.

When you brew a badass beer, you need to find a name that does it justice. So, we looked to one of our favorite badasses: Ellen Ripley. Made with 20% rye malt to give it a subtle spiciness, Ripley is a clean, dry-finishing rye pale ale generously hopped with Cascade and 7 C's varieties, which lend lingering citrus and piney aromas. Our chests are bursting with pride over this extra-terrestrially delicious brew!
