We’re in the market for good art! If you are a painter, digital artist, graphic designer, or any other visual artist, we want to see what you’re capable of!
To be more specific, we’re looking for artists who can produce artwork that will be used on future beer packaging, and other creative design projects yet to be announced.

It is very important that you follow the directions outlined below. Please read and review carefully before submitting your work!
Please design a label for one of the following fictional beers that would be packaged in standard 16oz four packs:
Please submit final artwork as a flattened .PDF document.
We want to see a collection of work you have already done that you feel is representative of your preferred or natural style. All art styles, techniques, and processes are welcome. It can be personal work or professional work, but it must be finished work.
Please collect 5-10 JPEG images that you believe best represent your work and place them in a zipped folder marked “[your name] Portfolio”.
Links to your website, social media pages, or any other place you present your art on the web.
Please submit your artwork and portfolio by August 30, 2019. While we will still accept submissions after the August 30 deadline, it is unlikely that we will be able to work with you on any of our planned projects in the near future. Stay tuned though! We may announce another search in the future.
Q: Is this a design contest?
A: No, this is not a contest. We’re looking for artists to work with for graphic design, label art, and some not yet announced projects.
Q: Is this a job application?
A: No. This is a search for independent artists who we can work with on an as needed, case by case basis.
Q: Are you only going to select one artist?
A: We may choose to work with as many artists as we deem fit. .
Q: Do you pay your artists? If so, how much?
A: Yes, we believe that good artwork is invaluable, and those producing it deserve fair compensation. Payment details would be negotiated once we’ve made the mutual decision to work together.
Q: Will the artwork I submit be used for anything?
Q: Are you looking for any specific art style?
A: No, we’re looking for you to express your style.
Q: Is there a set format for the fictional beer label?
A: No, but a standard 16oz pint can has a printable area that is approximately 5” tall, and about 8” around.
Q: Why a fictional beer, and not a beer like Pomona Queen?
A: We want to see new, creative work, not an re-interpretation of an established brand
Q: Are the fictional beers actually fictional?
A: Yes, they are entirely fictional, though it is remotely possible that we might make similar beers or use similar names in the future.
Q: Can I submit my artwork and portfolio in person?
A: No, please submit your artwork as per the guidelines above, no exceptions.
