Live at Last Name: Mohave Beach Band

Friday, March 3rd at 7:00pm
No Cover

We are The Mohave Beach Band formed in 2015. Our style and our musical themes are influenced by the Colorado river lifestyle of the southwestern desert region of the United States. We often refer to ourselves as a "river rock" band.

It has been our stated goal from the beginning to write all of our own material though we do play a cover song here and there. We have had a lot of success with this formula. Recently at a show the vendor asked us to return so that he could show his out of state friends the "California Sound."

The Mohave Beach Band is essentially a danceable rock band with country and jazz influences. Most of our primary set songs, what we call our winery sets, are very family friendly entertainment.

We do have a side of us that we take to car shows and other events that is very much on the hard "rock" side. Sometimes we just need to let the horses run.

Live at Last Name: Sean Oliu and the Coastline Cowboys

Saturday, January 14 at 7:00pm
No Cover

Sean Oliu is a prolific young singer, songwriter and musician from Southern California. Sean has been intertwining country with the influences of Blues, and early Rock n’ Roll to form his own unique musical style. He was introduced to classic country music as young boy by his papa. They spent hours together working on cars and listening to the likes of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, George Strait and many more.

Sean opened for Rachel Platten at the “VH1 Save The Music Holiday Concert” and was selected to record and perform the title tracks “Remember Me” and “Un Poco Loco” (from the movie “Coco”) with Anthony Gonzalez. He was thrilled to open for LeAnn Rimes in her “You and Me Christmas Tour”.

Sean recently returned from Nashville where he had the honor to perform at the legendary Bluebird Café, the original Basement, and to record and write with some of country music’s leading artists. Sean’s talents have opened the door to collaborations with many talented musicians and is currently partnering with Grammy Award winning producer and songwriter Darrell Brown.

Sean was humbled to be awarded the 2020 OC Artist of the Year, a highlight in what had been a challenging year due to the pandemic. Later that year he became the first country music artist chosen to perform for the Music Center's 61st LA Holiday Celebration on PBS. The following year he was again honored to be part of the 62nd Holiday Celebration where he became the first country singer to play live on the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion stage for the annual event.

When he isn’t collaborating with other artists Sean loves playing all around the Southland with his three-piece country music band – Sean Oliu and The Coastline Cowboys. Helping to round out Sean’s deep and soulful classic country sound and guitar playing are his good friends and amazingly talented musicans, Danny Hudson on bass guitar and Ryan Brinkley on drums.

Live at Last Name: The Dogs

Friday, December 23 at 6:30pm

The Dogs are a rock 'n' roll band. They don't play the hits; they play the other songs.

You know the songs you hear every day on the radio? And then you hear them again at night when you go to a club? That is called saturation.

The Dogs are a tribute band that play unsaturated rock. They pay tribute to every artist they cover by bringing the "feel" and "sound" of each song they do. Time machine songs from your past that instantly transport you
